Cory's Story
In 2016, I was going nowhere. I had worked so hard to become a lawyer, but knew that I didn’t fit in with the traditional legal culture. I was working insane hours, felt completely unfulfilled, and wasn’t living anywhere close to the life I always wanted for myself. Traveling was always my biggest passion, and I died inside when I signed a contract at a “dream job”, a big law firm which included a whopping 10 vacation days.
A friend invited me to a self-help seminar, and I stood in front of the crowd.” When I think about my career, I feel like I am walking down a long hallway of endless bright fluorescent lights, passing infinite cubicles, with a 50-pound concrete weight on my back.”
I was lost.
Then, I took a leap of faith. In 2017, I was so close to quitting law but first decided to do things my own way. I started my own online law firm (this was before Zoom and remote working was a thing) and committed to traveling the world, living in financial abundance and only working with epic heart-leading people. I had no experience as an entrepreneur, but DECIDED I would make it work, and I was committed to living my dream.
Seven years later, here we are, kitesurfing on the beaches of Brazil. I built an award-winning law firm, have advised over 1,000 entrepreneurs, and work from anywhere in the world. In the past seven years, I’ve visited more than 30 new countries (100+ in my life), have led workshops in front of thousands of entrepreneurs, and built an amazing business that lets me do what I want, where I want, when I want, and with whom I want.
I’ve written a best-selling book, I’ve won awards for public speaking, and I have given workshops to over 10,000 small business owners. I love what I do, and it wasn’t until I sat down and thought about how I built this that I realized I could teach it to others.
